This is a beautiful crystal, the colors of red quartz look so pretty, so raw, so " from the earth to you ".

What makes this crystal cluster so special is the clusters of points in every direction on a bed of quartz matrix.
Now what really makes this a one of a kind cluster is the millions of years old sand inclusions throughout the surface. WOW !!!
The dimensions are : 2 inches tall, 2 1/2 inches wide and 7 inches long. This large cluster weighs in at 1 pound 12 ounces.
This massive crystal is unbelievable in every way, the points are perfection and its massive size is incredible to see.
The multiple points protruding from the huge quartz matrix are incredible -large red Hematite points covering the entire cluster.

The bright red-orange color is caused by inclusions of hematite within the secondary generation of quartz.
The primary generation appears to have been clear quartz, as can be seen on the underside of the specimen.
This huge specimen has been a central piece in my home for 5 years.
