This is not the modern Verdite machine made from China this is the real deal, vintage Verdite with great carving, amazing detail that you only get from Congo Africa.
It is loaded with deep green and black swirling colors throughout.
These perfect size lions weigh 10 ounces each and were beautifully hand carved a long time ago.
They are carved to perfection great for a shelf or an altar display.
The lion's measures, 4 1/2 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3 inches tall, making this a great display item.
This is a one-of-a-kind carved Verdite lion.
The Verdite is the old style deep and rich in color very dense and so perfectly detailed with great patina.
I cannot say enough about how nicely detailed this vintage carving is.
