The Agate is the old style, deep and rich in color very dense and so perfectly detailed.

I cannot say enough about how nicely detailed this carving is.

This Agate box is handmade beautifully detailed, and you can imagine how rare it is to get a Agate Pill/Trinket Box handmade with the matching hand-crafted hinged lid and matching Agate bottom making this a true treasure.

The formation of agate occurs through a process called deposition, where silica-rich groundwater flows into cavities within rocks or volcanic formations.

As the silica solution slowly crystallizes over time, it forms layers of microscopic quartz crystals, resulting in the distinctive banding patterns.

These bands may be composed of various minerals and impurities, which contribute to the diverse range of colors and textures.
