Himalayan Quartz Crystals are mined by hand, at altitudes of 10,000 to 15,000 feet high up in the Himalayan Mountains in an area near the border of Tibet and Nepal.
These Quartz deposits are considered to be the oldest and highest deposits known.
The crystals are then carried by pack great distances over and down the mountain trails to reach us.
Due to the fact that these Himalayan Quartz crystals are hand mined in such treacherous conditions, very few crystals ever reach the marketplace.
They are much sought after by the metaphysical enthusiasts and collectors alike.
