It's the Autumn Equinox, and it is time to continue our tarot card journey, this time with the suit of wands.  

The major arcana was all about the hero's journey and the characters that we meet, and ultimately become, outgrow, and integrate into our being, creating this conglomerate of characters that makes us whole.

After we finished the major arcana, it was time to explore the minor arcana cards.  The minor arcana cards represent the nuances of our day to day life ~ each in their own dimension.  The cups cards were about emotions, and the wand cards are all about our passion and creativity in life, what drives us.  

The suit of pentacles are about our physical conditions, and the suit of swords represent our mental state.

All of the 4 suits overlap each other and are happening simultaneously. 

This minor arcana journey will focus on the suit of wands, ace through 10, and then the 4 court cards, Page, Knight, Queen and King.

The wands are related to the element of fire, so it is really about our inner spark, what lights us up... What are we really passionate about, it also has to do with our spirituality, our life force, it's a really action oriented suit.

The wands have to do with how we spend our time, what we do with our life, and how we assert ourselves in the world.  The energy of the suit of wands is more masculine, whereas the cups were more feminine and flowy, the wands are really  about asserting our will and taking a masculine stand.

All the suits apply to both men and women, there's a difference in the type of energy however.
