Things are starting to move very quickly when we arrive at the eight of wands!  At this stage on the journey, things are clicking into place, and forward momentum is accelerating!

It's important to be able to make fast decisions, because there is no time for hesitation!  The eight of wands can bring exciting news!  It is a breath of fresh air, moving you swiftly where you are heading!

There is often a sense of urgency in this stage of the wands journey.  There is a window of opportunity, and it is important to strike when the iron is hot.  

This is an interesting card because there is no central figure, it is less about the hero's involvement, and more about ACTION, ACTION, ACTION...  

Momentum is scooping the hero along.  All of the hardwork that the hero has been doing has now created a stream of motion.  The motion now carries the hero into the fulfillment of thier desires!
