Welcome back to the Hero's Journey.  After a period of reflection, with the hanged man, we now come face to face with the most feared character on our journey, DEATH.

The DEATH card is not to be feared, it is actually a messenger of Renewal and Transformation.  DEATH comes to welcome us into a new phase of our journey.  DEATH is a transition guide, leading us to our next adventure.  

We die and are reborn many times within our lives, when it is time to move on and let go of the old, to make room for something new to emerge.  

The cycle of life is birth, death, and re-birth.  It is continual, and never ending, we are transformed into a new version of ourselves, over and over and over.  This is a good thing, because to stagnate and never change, would feel like actual Death.

The cycle of Life is always moving us forward, to better and better, a fuller expression of life, and never less.  SO DEATH acts as a guide to usher us into the unknown.  

When this card shows up it is a good sign, because it means that the natural cycle is happening, and new and better opportunities are coming, and a transformation is under way.  

Now that we've faced the DEATH card and realized that there is nothing to be afraid of, we can embrace the unknown with happy expectancy.  

The next character on our Journey is TEMPERENCE.  We have come so far on our hero's journey, and we still have much more to discover.  A hero's journey never ends...
