What a journey it's been.  We made it ~ to the final character in the Major Arcana of the Tarot.  Our Hero's Journey has reached it's ending.

THE WORLD card shows up when we have finished a phase in our life.  We have tied up all the loose ends, there will be no need to ever go back in the past or repeat old patterns, because the lessons have been learned and integrated.

The Fool has accomplished the Hero's Journey, and has gone through a transformation.  Many lessons had to be learned the hard way.  Many trials that were painful, but all has now been transmuted into wisdom.  

The Fool is no longer the same person she was when she set out on her journey.  And even though parts of her died along the way, it was only to make way for a better version of herself to emerge.

The Fool, having completed this phase of her life, now faces a brand new beginning.  She may not know what lies ahead, in some new way, she will again become the Fool, and relive the excitement and drama of the whole adventure, but from a higher plane.

But for now she will celebrate the completion of the circle.  If this were a fairy tale, the Fool would now live happily ever after.  Knowing what the Fool now knows, she looks forward to many more adventures, on the never ending upward spiral of life.

Thank you for following along on the Hero's Jouney.  We covered the 22 major arcana cards, which symbolize the big, transformative parts of our life's journey.  But there are still many nuances to life's journey, the day to day thoughts, emotions, desires, and physical experiences.  These are depicted in the minor arcana cards.

And we also have the court cards, which represent characters in our life.  At some point in the near future, we will delve into the remaining cards of the tarot deck.  Congratulations for making it to the end of the hero's journey.
