Welcome back to our minor arcana tarot journey, where we explore the cups. Β The cups represent the element of water, also symbolic of emotions. Β WIth the seven of cups, we are presented with many different options, and we are not sure where to focus our attention.

The seven of cups represents alot of potential, but without clarity or direction, our efforts are scattered to the wind. Β At this point, we must decide where we will place our focus, or at least prioritize...

While there are many dazzling options to pursue in life, if we want to be effective, we must decide which goal has top priority, and makes the most sense for us.

It's important to realize that certain fantasies may seem worthwhile, but are they really what our heart desires, or are they just something that our ego imagines? Β How do we choose between all the wonderful options laid out before us? Β

One of my favorite bible quotes is my answer to this riddle, "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven, and all these things will be added unto you." Β

It reminds us that if we seek the ultimate goal, which is Truth, then all the gifts will become ours automatically. Β So rather than pursue the gifts... if we pursue the Creator, all the gifts will be given... Β

Stay tuned as we delve deeper into the secret wisdom contained within the tarot...with the eight of cups coming next....
