Welcome back to our tarot card journey. Β We completed the minor arcana (ace through ten) of the cups suit. Β Now it is time to continue on with the COURT CARDS of the Cups suit.
The first character we meet is the PAGE of Cups. Β The page of cups is like our inner child. Β She is super playful, a bit naive, and full of optimism and possibility. Β
The Page of Cups is spontaneous, and guided by inspiration. Β It can be a new beginning when the Page of Cups appears, similar to the Fool of the major arcana, but in the realm of emotions.
The Page of Cups is emotionally open and sensitive, artistic, and dreamy. Β She has visions and believes in the intuitive inspirations that she receives.
The Page of Cups can also mean that new love is in the air, whether it is romantic, or the love of some new pursuit. Β The Page is open to following her desires, and is the youthful version of us.
Even as we progress on our hero's journey and mature into different characters, we can always call back older versions of ourselves, just like cards in our deck, we can pull them out when needed. Β We never lose the playful inner child, who sees the good and the possibilty everywhere. Β
The Page of Cups comes in handy when we feel uninspired or jaded, and we want to get that youthful optimism and creativity back. Β The cure to depression and monotony is to express our feelings, and the Page of Cups is the artist who is eager to do that!
Don't undestimate the power of cheerfulness that the Page brings. Β It's the antidote to the heavy energy that accumulate over time. Β
Our next Court Card is the Knight of Cups....stay tuned!
