The Queen of Cups is the second to last character in the cups suit. ย The cups suit is a journey of the emotional world, which overlaps the three other suits of the tarot, all happening simultaneously. ย So when you pull a cups card in a tarot reading, know that it pertains to your feelings.

The cups are also associated with the element of water, and when our emotions are free flowing and smooth, they are like water in that way. ย The Queen of Cups emodies her intuition and moves in rhythm with the flow of life. ย She is fluid and unrestricted, like the waves of the ocean, ebbing and flowing, and allowing every feeling to flow through her, without becoming stuck in any of it.

She sees emotions for what they are, ever changing, like the thoughts of the mind (which we will discuss in the suit of swords). ย She sees her emotions as indicators, not as absolute facts, or even something to succomb to. ย She is aware of how she is feeling, and is detached enough to maintain an objective view. ย

The Queen of Cups is a comforting person to be around. ย People often come to her for advice and support, and she is consoling and encouraging to those she loves. ย

She is alot like the High Priestess of The Major Arcanca, and offers insights that may not be available to those who are more physically focused. ย The Queen of Cups is calm and collected, and doesn't let the emotional storms of life shake her core. ย She is centered, strong, and radiates peace. ย

We have one Cups Suit character left, the King of Cups! ย
